Editorial Well, what is happening to the good old English weather? Is it May or February? By the time you read this we shall have had the first of our Summer Monday club evenings, the scale event, at the Wolston field. The more serious club scale competition is on Sunday13th July. This Summer the club is running a series of electric self launch glider competitions. The simplified rules are below. If you want to take part, contact Derek Smith for a full set of rules. If you want to see anything in particular in future issues, then don’t forget to let me know. Call 024 76411142 or email grahamclarke5@hotmail.com You can also get me at Modelcraft on Tuesdays and Thursdays on 024 76676409 |

Frequency Board The new frequency system is now in full operation at the Wolston field. If for any reason you have not been given your name tag for use on the frequency board, then give Stan a call on 024 76621741..
Additional Flying Field Unfortunately we do not have the use of the additional upper field at Wolston. The farmer who rents out the field is concerned that if the area is seen to be used and not left as “set aside”, then he could risk losing the money he is paid for leaving the field empty for a year. Win some lose some!
Club Meetings on the first Monday of the month are held at the Peugeot Sports Pavilion in Humber Road. If you have an electric powered model then bring it along and have a fly before the meeting starts. During the Summer months, club meetings on the third Monday of the month are held at the Wolston field.
